Today I had a good workout. I got out for 1:45 on the bike and followed it up with a 30 minute run. My bike is on its way to Florida so I broke out the mountain bike. I couldn't stomach two hours + indoors. Feel like the season has come full circle. It was 10 months ago...but if feels like yesterday...that I was out on the mountain bike in zero degree weather. Riding was good. I did about 5 hill repeats to get the HR going and then kept it steady at 137 - 140 the entire ride.
Transitioned to the run and had to slow it down. I laid down a 6:30 in the first mile with very little effort. I feel like I'm running slow but that's not the case. HR remained steady in the 150s for most of the run and was happy to wrap it up after 30 minutes.
