Rain soaked streets and downpours kept me indoors this morning. Hit the trainer for a 2 hour ride at 5 am. Not sure how people can put in 4 hours on a trainer let alone more than 2 hours. It's way freakin monotonous. Not moving and just getting drenched with sweat is no fun. Seriously you must have a switch you can just turn off that says, I will not be aware of space or time for four hours...it's hard to believe people can actually do this.
Anyway, watched Seals Hell Week and concluded the ride at exactly 2 hours not a minute longer. Quickly transitioned to the treadmill for a 30 minute run. Got my run legs immediately and churned it out for 35 minutes. Good to finish the days workout before 8 am.
Oh yeah, Timex customer service kicks ass. They sent me a new HR receiver and it worked perfectly fine today. The question is will it hold up.
