Today I got out for a long brick. The bike wasn't the hard part but the run let me know I'm still not recovered from last weekend's race. It was great to not run in race flats. The bike portion was good and I kept a steady cadence but on the hills my legs ached to get back to the flats. The run was smooth and felt much better about 35 minutes in to the hour. My HR was in the 160s for most of the run with a max of 171. It's a pretty hilly route.
Feels good to be back to training. After today's workout I feel like I went out for a 4+ hour ride.
