Ride...now taper

Today was my last long ride before I get to kick back a little. Headed out early to and today was not as easy yesterday. As soon as I hit the first hill I knew it was going to be a long two hours. I guess that's a good sign that my legs are shot. Got some hills to start and then leveled out and hit some gradual climbs. The ride back in was where I got some hills but was rewarded with some really fast downhills. Now it's a rest day tomorrow and maintenance for the rest of the week.

Thoughts are now turning to eating right all week and resting for Timberman. I'm anxious for this race but also trying not to put too much focus on it. It will be a good test for Nov. 1. I've been playing the course back in my head from last year and just hoping to improve both my bike and run times. We'll see.

Summary:

Time: 2:15

Avg HR: No data left my strap at home
