This year I've been fortunate enough to do all my training outside...so far. The exception was my run last night. Work didn't allow me to get out early in the am and stuck in the office past 6, I had to hit the dreaded treadmill. I usually just go to the gym to swim, but yesterday I used that damn clothes hanger. Oh man did it suck. Time basically stood freakin still. I got in a 45 minute but my has the worst energy imaginable. Everyone is 50 plus and it's deserted on Fridays. It's a wellness center so you can imagine the clientele. People's workouts consist of trips to the water cooler and the only thing getting worked out is their jaws. I don't run with music so I hear it all. Swanky lawyer and VP discussing their third homes on the shore or the hottest stock. Arrghhh, just workout and sweat for god's sake. When there, I'm the only one who sweats (shirt soaking sweat) and am looked at like I have the plague. Enough rant, but I'm sure everyone has their gym stories. Don't even get me going about chest-thumping-maxed-out-two-minute-treadmill-guy-always-peering-
over-at-your-speed-trying-to-one-up-you.
